The frame rate goes up to 60 on both the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox One X, though the Xbox One X seems to drop below that a little more than its competitors.
But in wise one, they are the same game. Both systems also need a subscription to play online, and since Overwatch is an online game, you need a subscription to either PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live to play. That will cost you $59.99 annually, but if you wait, you can often find them for as much as 50% off.
If you can’t decide, choose the console with the controller you like best. There’s not much else to say.
On Nintendo Switch, Overwatch
Many people didn’t like how the Nintendo Switch version of Overwatch worked. The game is supposed to run at 30 frames per second, but it drops more often than not. It’s not a huge problem, but it can be annoying if you’re in the middle of a tough team fight. It’s also a very limited version of the game in terms of graphics, but Blizzard games are very good at scaling and still look good on less powerful hardware.
