Money earned for his career: $355,921

The American has not left too far from the above-mentioned Kinstaar. His story is similar to the Swiss esportsman’s career. Riversan has also been playing professionally for three years and is most famous for his performance in one team. River joined the ranks of Team Liquid in April 2019 and left the club almost 3 years later. There is only one tournament in his career, in which he has demonstrated a pretty decent result and earned a big part of the prize money in his career. This event was Fortnite World Cup Finals Solo. Riversan did his best at the biggest championship in the unusual discipline and placed 9th in the standings. This performance has guaranteed the player a reward of $300,000. Considering that River Handley has earned $357,492 for his career, we cannot but notice the impact of this event in the American’s general prize money — 84% of all rewards for his career. He was earning the rest 16% during three years and he failed to grab more than $5,000 at any tournament.

48th place — Alexandre ‘Andilex’ Christophe

The 4th place at C2S5: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe and Gamers8 2022 where he earned $40,000 and $37,500, respectively, can be called his best achievements. Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 6

2022 was pretty unsuccessful for the American player. The ex-representative of FaZe Clan has made only $1,400 this year. However, he has earned more than $380,000 in prize money for his career. The reason for it is the Fortnite tournaments that were hosted in 2019. At the duo event, he held 7th place with his teammate Dubs and won $197,500 but he was less lucky at the solo tournament. Being one of 100 players, he was not able to reach the top 60 and finished his path 62nd, for which he received a consolation prize of $50,000, just like the rest of the participants of Fortnite World Cup FInals Solo who held 21st-100th place. Noam’s total sum of earned prizes is equal to $382,755.

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 7

Unlike many representatives of the list of the best players, Cloakzy’s career lasted from 2018 to 2019 and it did not stop him from earning almost $400,000 in such a short period of time. No, the infamous Fortnite World Cup 2019 is not a reason. The reason for Cloakzy’s success was a victory at Fortnite Fall Skirmish: Week 6 – TwitchCon Finals, the championship with a prize pool of $1,942,500. With his teammate Tfue who will appear in this top later, the American placed 1st and won $255,000. In total, Dennis Lepore has made $392,625.

Just like many esportsmen from this list, he has spent his entire career in one esports club. The remarkable thing is that Nate Hill is the first player on our list who has managed to earn more than $400,000 of prize money. He owes this to two championships that were the most successful and profitable in his career. He held 4th place at Fortnite Summer Skirmish: Week 8 @ PAX West and became the silver medalist at Fortnite Fall Skirmish: Week 6 – TwitchCon Finals. The first event was for solo players and Nate Hill made $120,000 there. The second event was hosted for duos. Together with Bugha, he has managed to achieve the main result of his career, the victory at FNCS: 2021 Grand Royale – NAE, the tournament with a prize pool of $1,055,250. The esportsman earned $95,000 for his efforts. At other championships, he made $50,000, $35,000, $65,000, $45,000, etc. There are no events in his career where he made a few thousand dollars, however, he earned $420,633 in 3 years of his career, which is pretty praiseworthy.

Other significant achievements include 2nd place at C2S6: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe where the reward amounted to $70,000 and, also, 29th place at Fortnite World Cup Finals – Solo and 14th place at Fortnite World Cup Finals – Duos. The Norwegian received $50,000 for both results at Fornite World Cup Finals 2019. But his score includes other achievements, which can’t be compared to the above-mentioned ones, however, it did not stop him from making more than $430,000 of prize money. The 18-year-old player’s career began in 2018 and he has already played for 4 different teams: Public Enemy, NRG Esports, 100 Thieves, and Become Legends. He was the first to leave the category of players who placed 21st-100th and had to earn $50,000 for their efforts. In this way, Commandment made $112,500 at one event almost at the very beginning of his career, which gave him a good start and motivation to continue his career. However, he had to enjoy the results that hardly pleased till March 2021, and the American together with Cented and Edgey placed 2nd at C2S5: FNCS – Grand Finals: NA East, for which he made $35,000. Previously, being in this trio, he held 2nd place at C2S4: FNCS – Grand Finals: NA East but the reward was just equal to $17,000. The player held prize places at a row of events later and his overall earnings have surpassed $430,000.

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 13

The German esportsman with not the most German name and surname has earned more than $430,000 and he mainly owes this result to C3S4: Elite Cup Finals – Week 2: Europe, which took place in August. His alliance with another famous Fortnite player, JannisZ, was effective and the duo held 1st place, having made $300,000 for two. This year, Vadeal surpassed the sum of $220,000. The other events, in which he performed well, were a few tournaments in the Fortnite Champion Series where he earned dozens of thousands of dollars. In such a way, he has almost reached the sum of $450,000 in prize money. He will definitely win his first half a million dollars of prizes.

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 14

The 26-year-old American has proved that it is never too late to start. The majority of Fortnite players were below 20 years old but ZexRow’s career began when he was 22 and he achieved good results at the very beginning of it. Having taken part in Fortnite Fall Skirmish: Week 6 – TwitchCon Finals together with Vinny1x, he managed to make it pretty far and enter the top 3 participants of the tournament, Having become the bronze medalist, ZexRow received a reward of $107,500, which guaranteed him high motivation to continue moving forward. In 2019, he participated in the biggest championship for duos with his fellow teammate Vinny1x and placed 9th at Fortnite World Cup Finals – Duos, for which he got $112,500. Perhaps, this result did not satisfy the players, and their ways parted for some time. In September 2019, ZexRow made another $100,000 but this time, thanks to the victory at FNCS: Season X – Grand Finals: NA East together with three teammates. 3 years have passed since this moment but he still can’t show decent results, which could be compared to the above-mentioned achievements. Anthony did not earn a cent in 2021 and 2022 but he said nothing about his retirement. We might see his performance later. He has earned more than $460,000 in prize money for his entire career.

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 17

Brendan ‘Falconer’ Falconer is the last player in the $400,000 category on our list. His career is similar to a comet flying near the Earth. He shined bright, telling everyone about him, and went out quickly if it can be compared. He earned the major part of his prize earnings at Fornite World Cup Finals Duos 2019 with his countryman, Arkhram. The American managed to demonstrate a nice performance and placed fifth in the standings, due to which he made $450,000 of prize money After this tournament, Brendan’s biggest achievement was 2nd place at C2S7: FNCS – Grand Finals: North America West where he won $11,500. After this, the representative of FaZe Clan seemed to be not that motivated and he decided to take a break in his career, which is still ongoing, after performing at a few events. He has been officially inactive in FaZe Clan since August 2020 but the player managed to earn almost $4,000 in 2022. Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 21

Nathan started his career as a professional Fortnite player in 2019 and took part in the solo tournament Fortnite World Cup 2019 where he placed 8th and earned $375,000. This result apparently had a positive impact on his motivation to continue playing and he was performing at a high level until 2019. Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 22

He managed to become the silver medalist at FNCS: Season X – Week 1: Europe and FNCS: Season X – Week 3: Europe, the trio of the esportsmen became the champions at FNCS: Season X – Week 2: Europe, FNCS: Season X – Week 4: Europe, and FNCS: Season X – Week 5: Europe. In a couple of months of stable performances, the Brit has made more than $120,000. The victory at FNCS: Invitational – Week 2: Europe can be called the main achievement in his career for a reason where the reward was equal to $50,000. There are no extremely loud results in Benjyfishy’s career like the top 20 at the Fortnite World Cup or a victory in the Fortnite Champion Series tournaments with a prize pool of $1,000,000+, however, the esportsman’s perseverance allowed him to make more than $570,000, which is achieved by very few fans of this game. Benjy retired in 18 years with the experience, which reflects his high gaming level in the past, and the esportsman’s name has entered the history of the professional Fortnite scene.

28th place — Klaus ‘Stompy’ Konstanzer

Money earned for his career: $603,919

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 23

Many fans of the professional Fortnite game remember the Austrian Klaus Konstanzer as a player who entered the top 15 participants of the Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Solo. Besides, he proceeded to the top 25 duos fighting at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos. He earned $50,000 for his efforts at the last one but the solo performance allowed the Australian esportsman to make 3 times more money. The success of the 18-year-old player (at that moment) was not over. A few months later, he achieved victory at two tournaments of the Fortnite Champion Series, namely, FNCS: Season X – Week 3: Europe and FNCS: Season X – Grand Finals: Europe. He received rewards of $32,000 and $160,000. In such a way, the 18-year-old esportsman made $400,000 in less than 2 months, considering other events. Klaus earned twice less in the rest of his career than in these 2 months. In total, he won $603,919 of prizes, due to which the Austrian placed 28th on our list. On October 15. Stompy achieved victory at C3S4: Elite Cup Finals – Week 3: Europe where he earned $5,000. Yes, the prize leaves much more to be desired but we see the activity of the esportsman and he will reach the sum of $700,000. By the way, Klaus has become the first one in the category of players who earned more than $600,000 in our top.

27th place — Aleksa ‘Queasy’ Cvetkovic

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 24

The Serbian player Aleksa Cvetkovic, unlike his forerunners, started the path of a professional Fortnite player in 2019 but the majority of his results were achieved in the last 2 years. He made more than half of his winnings, which he earned in his career, in 2022. Queasy showed the best performance at the Fortnite Champion Series tournaments where he achieved victories in May 2021 and May 2022, having won $100,000 and $150,000, respectively. He placed 3rd and earned $90,000 and $75,000 at the championships in the same series in November 2021 and August 2022, which was a strong boost for his earnings. In total, Aleksa has earned more than $610,000 and almost reached the top 25 most successful Fortnite players. In the future, he will be able to catch up and secure a slot not just in the top 25 but the top 20.

26th place — Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller

Money earned for his career: $630,495

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 25

The American esportsman Timothy Miller began his career in 2018 and was playing only for two clubs: Ghost Gaming and FaZe Clan. Being in the ranks of Ghost Gaming, he played at Fortnite Summer Skirmish: Week 8 @ PAX West where the player held 2nd place and received $180,000 as a reward. Before this, he had held the same place twice at other tournaments in the same series. Later, he also demonstrated good results sometimes but he was not able to achieve the same success. This performance allowed the Fortnite player to make $630,495 in his career and he had the best times from July to October 2018. The last 2 years of Bizzle’s life as a player were not far from the best, however, he has not retired yet, so there is a chance that Bizzle will stand out in the international Fortnite arena. However, Timothy Miller almost made it to the top 25 most successful players in this discipline, which can be called a good achievement for the 24-year-old esportsman.

25th place — Iwo ‘Setty’ Zajac

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 26

The Polish esportman has placed 25th because he earned more than $630,000 in his career. He earned the major part of the prize money due to his victory at C2S8: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe and FNCS: Invitational 2022, and also second place at FNCS: 2021 Grand Royale – EU. The most interesting thing is that Iwo has earned $100,000 for the victories at the first two but the esportsman has made $150,000 for the silver prize at NFCS 2021 Grand Royale EU. In 2022, Iwo Zajac managed to win almost $270,000 of prize money and he has overcome the sum of $630,000 in his entire career. By the way, his road began in 2018 and Iwo has played for a few teams since the start of his career, including Vex.esport, Grom.F1rst, 300 Spartans, Spectrum ESC, and Become Legends. The remarkable thing is that the Polish player demonstrates the best results in team modes. The only solo tournament, in which he showed a decent result, was DreamHack Summer 2022: Battle Royale – Final but he earned only $12,000 for the victory at the event, which is small enough, compared to the above-mentioned championships.

24th place — Kyle ‘Mongraal’ Jackson

Money earned for his career: $665,825

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 27

The British Kyle Jackson showed his top achievements in the middle of 2019. Despite his career starting in April 2018, he managed to achieve the biggest result at the biggest Fortnite championship, World Cup Finals. Together with his Dutch teammate Mitr0, he made it to the top 6 participants of Fortnite World Cup Finals Duos, for which he received $225,000, and he entered the top 15 in the solo mode, holding 13th place. This performance allowed the player to earn $150,000. After this, his esports run continued, he achieved victories many times and placed 2nd at the Fortnite Champion Series tournaments in 2019-2022 making dozens of thousands of dollars. Kyle has earned more than $665,000. The remarkable thing is he had done it before he became mature. Since 2021, he has paused his activity as a player, however, he still has a contract signed with FaZe Clan and he has not stated about his retirement. It means that Mongraal will appear in the international arena once again, which means that he can overcome the sum of $700,00 of earned winnings.

23rd place — Henrik ‘Hen’ Mclean

Money earned for his career: $666,688

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 28

Henrik Mclean is still active on the Fortnite stage, despite starting his career in 2019. The British player is a pretty rare case when you achieve success only after trying hard for years. The 17-year-old esportsman began playing competitively when he was 14. At age 15, he with his teammates JannisZ and chapix who have also been mentioned in our top players managed to prevail at C2S5: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe with a prize pool of $1,347,000. For their efforts, each member of the winning team, including Henrick Mclean, made $100,000, which was a starting point for Hen’s success and his motivation has become even stronger since then. Henrick’s efforts were not in vain and he prevailed at Fortnite Champion Series: 2021 Grand Royale – Europe with a prize pool of $2,250,300 in November 2021 where his prize was equal to $200,000. 4 months later, Hen achieved victory at the championship for duos. Having teamed up with Queasy, he placed first at C3S1: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe and received a prize of $150,000. In such a way, he managed to earn more than $500,000 in a year, while the earnings for his entire career amounted to $666,688. Now, Mclean is listed on the roster of Guild Esports and keeps succeeding together with Queasy. He might even enter the top 20 Fortnite players soon.

22nd place — Jannis ‘JannisZ’ Matwin

Money earned for his career: $666,881

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 29

The German esportsman Jannis Matwin is famous to professional Fortnite fans as the champion of FNCS: Invitational – Grand Finals: Europe, C2S5: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe, and C3S3: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe. He earned $370,000 at these three tournaments. The latest year was also very successful for JannisZ, which allowed him to make almost a quarter of a million dollars over the past 11 months. He started playing with Vadeal a year ago and, as the practice shows, the German duo might achieve new heights. Now, Jannis has a contract with Wave Esports and the partnership between Wave Esports and Guild Esports has left behind the German player. If he continues his esports road in such a manner, he will make it to the twenty-best Fortnite players in the nearest future.

21st place — Michal ‘Kami’ Kaminski

Money earned for his career: $687,220

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 30

Michal Kaminski has already been mentioned in our article when we were talking about his countrymen and teammates Teeq and Setty. This trio and the duo of Kami and Setty allowed the Polish Fortnite fan to achieve victory at C2S8: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe and the recently finished FNCS: Invitational 2022. In both cases, the Pole earned $100,000, however, this result can’t be called the most profitable in his career. Kami showed a more successful performance in terms of financial income at Fortnite Champion Series: 2021 Grand Royale – Europe. He held 2nd place but earned $150,000 for it. Besides the above-mentioned events, Kami held prize places at other championships many times, making dozens of thousands of dollars. All of this helped him to get extremely close to the top twenty Fortnite players. Besides, he earned more than $270,675 in 2022, which deserves big respect. We are confident that Kami will achieve the desired sum of $700,000 in prize money in the nearest future or even this year.

20th place — Moussa ‘Chapix’ Faour

Money earned for his career: $693,179

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 31

The top 20 best and most successful Fortnite players are opened by the Swedish 18-year-old player Moussa Faour. The native of Sweden reached the peak of his career a year ago when he was fighting together with Hen and TaySon and achieved victory at Fortnite Champion Series: 2021 Grand Royale – Europe with a prize pool of $2,250,300. It made him $250,000 richer. A half a year later, Chapix placed 2nd at C3S2: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe with TaySon where he received $100,000 for his efforts. Fortnite World Cup Finals Duos and Gamers8 2022 were other events worth noting where the Swede proved himself. In the first case, he placed 22nd with the help of his countryman crue but Chapix together with the Romanian zAndy held 2nd place at the second event. Moussa Faour made $50,000 and $75,000 at the above-mentioned championships for his efforts, respectively. The Swede is $7,000 away from being one of the very few players who managed to earn more than $700,000 for the entire career. Only 19 players from all over the world have already made it. We will talk further about them. In a conclusion, it is worth mentioning that Moussa is one of the very few esportsmen who demonstrates interesting results every year, except for 2020.

19th place — Theo ‘crue’ Ferrer

Money earned for his career: $707,480

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 32

The Swedish esportsman finished his career two years ago. He was active on the professional Fortnite stage for less than a year, however, it did not stop him from earning a solid sum of prize money and retiring being one of the very few who managed to get more than $700,000 in winnings. The reason is the Fornite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos and Solo. He played the duo mode together with his countryman Moussa ‘Chapix’ Faour, whom we have told about him earlier. This duo managed to show some beautiful moments and was remembered by viewers of the event, however, the team failed to reach the top 20. The team finished 22nd and made $50,000 for each player. But Crue demonstrated a master class in the solo mode of Fornite World Cup Finals 2019. He made it to the top ten there and was one step away from getting into the top five. Having placed sixth at the event, he earned a big piece of prize money in the sum of $600,000. After this, he was playing on the professional stage for a few months and Crue decided to retire as a professional Fortnite player after his victory at the May tournament where the main prize was equal to $5,000. He has earned $707,480 in winnings for his career.

18th place — Diego ‘Arkhram’ Lima

Money earned for his career: $731,092

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 33

Diego has achieved more than one and even more victories at the Fortnite Champion Series tournaments. However, due to him being a representative of the American stage where not that much prize money is up for grabs, his earnings leave much more to be desired. In the best case, Arkhram earned $35,000 for a victory at an event. But the Fornite World Cup 2019 Duos was a nice opportunity to earn prize money at the very beginning of his career. Together with his teammate and countryman Falconer, he made it to the top 5 and placed 5th in the standings, which guaranteed each member of the team $450,000 for their efforts. The player’s motivation was pretty high for a long time but he decided to retire as a professional Fortnite gamer at the end of the summer of 2022. For his entire career, he has earned $731,092, and, being the champion of a few big Fortnite tournaments, the American has retired and managed to write his name in the history of the professional scene in this unusual discipline.

17th place — Thomas ‘Th0masHD’ Høxbro Davidsen

Money earned for his career: $760,013

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 34

The 20-year-old Dane Thomas Høxbro Davidsen was coming to success persistently enough. He is one of the few players who were not able to achieve a single victory at any significant tournament in his career but, despite this, he has earned $760,000. Th0masHD is like Sumail in the Fortnite world. Sumail is famous for placing third in Dota 2 tournaments frequently but his Danish protege can be called the king of third places in Fortnite for sure. He became the bronze medalist at four Fortnite Champion Series tournaments. He succeeded to do so in November 2020, and 2021, and also in March and May 2022. He made $265,000 at these four championships. His score also includes 2nd place at one of such events and he placed 4th three times. Th0masHD’s least successful performance at the Fortnite Champion Series tournaments was 6th and 9th place but he earned $40,000 and $30,000, respectively, even in these cases. Now, he plays for the Danish club Astralis and he only lacks one thing to retire peacefully is a victory at one of such tournaments. Thomas can have a rest after this.

16th place — Dmitri ‘Mitr0’ Van de Vrie

Money earned for his career: $765,288

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 35

Dmitri Van de Vrie continues the list of the most successful Fortnite players who have already retired. Mitr0 can be called one of the most successful representatives of the professional Fortnite scene ever. He achieved victory at four Fortnite Summer Skirmish tournaments and four Fortnite Champion Series tournaments. Besides, he succeeded at Fornite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos together with the British player Mongraal who placed 24 in our top. The 6th place brought the duo $550,000 for two and $225,00 for each player, respectively. The native of the Netherlands earned $765,288 in total and retired from the professional Fortnite scene in September this year. He was playing under the tag Team Atlantis from July 2018 to September 2019, after that he was representing the interests of Team Liquid from January 2020 to September 2022.

15th place — Clément ‘Skite’ Danglot

Money earned for his career: $847,072

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 36

The French player Clement Danglot who will celebrate his 23rd birthday on November 23 began his career in the middle of 2018. Before the start of the Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019, he earned more than $100,000 with great efforts, however, his participation in the above-mentioned event changed his situation both in the international arena and financially. The Fortnite fan played in the Duos mode together with the Swiss Vato and placed 10th at the tournament, which rewarded the esportsmen with $112,500 per person. And he had a big success at the solo tournament. The French entered the top 10 and held the seventh position. This result allowed him to earn a reward of $525,000. However, this result did not motivate him to continue playing at a high level and Clement could not show decent results after 2nd and 3rd place at the Fortnite Champion Series tournaments in August and December 2019. He took part in championships in the upcoming two years but he failed to achieve the past glory. It was the reason why Clement decided to retire and have a rest. However, he has earned almost $850,000, which allowed him to place 15th in our rating and open the category of Fortnite players who have earned more than $800,00 of prize money.

14th place — Tai ‘TaySon’ Starčič

Money earned for his career: $898,819

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 37

The 18-year-old Tai Starcic has lacked only $1,181 of earned prize money to enter the category of esportsmen who earned the desired $900,000 in Fortnite. Starcic managed to perform successfully at various tournaments in this unusual esports discipline many times. Two main achievements in TaySon’s career include the victories at FNCS: All-Star Showdown – Grand Finals: Europe and FNCS: 2021 Grand Royale – EU where he received $150,000 and $200,000 as a reward, respectively. The third place in terms of earnings is held by the silver medal at C3S2: FNCS – Grand Finals: Europe where he made $100,000 together with Chapix. The last championship with a solid result was Gamers8 2022 where he was playing with Th0masHD who has already been mentioned in our top. He placed 6th and earned $20,000 for each player. Now, Tai Starcic plays under the tag Team Falcons and we do not doubt that TaySon will soon beat the threshold of $900,000 in prize money and he might even enter the list of Fortnite millionaires in the upcoming year.

13th place — Hayden ‘Elevate’ Krueger

Money earned for his career: $973,650

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 38

Hayden Krueger from Canada was the first player on the list who surpassed the sum of $900,000 in prize money. He is $22,550 away from entering the category of millionaires but he is unlikely to achieve this. The reason is his retirement. Elevate’s years of activity are 2018-2020. The Canadian is mostly a player of one tournament, except for a couple of not the most important events. To take part in Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos, the Canadian united with the American player Ceice who placed 11th on our list and held 3rd place at the biggest tournament for duos. This result allowed them to earn $900,000. Hayden’s motivation to play professionally and his skills declined. Right after Fornite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos, he held 2nd place at the following event but the esportsman had a series of failed tournaments after that. The Canadian was not able to advance higher than 7th place and his motivation and results were becoming lower and lower, and the income from tournaments was rarely more than $1,000. “Why should I participate in tournaments if I can’t earn well?” — Elevate thought logically, having compared the results with his performance at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos and announced his retirement.

12th place — Thiago ‘K1nG’ Lapp

Money earned for his career: $1,037,550

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 39

The Argentinian player Thiago Lapp has become the first player on our list of the most successful Fortnite players who surpassed the desired $1,000,000 mark in prize money for his entire career. Just like the above-mentioned Elevate, K1nG earned the major part of his winnings at one tournament. He demonstrated an incredible performance at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Solo and reached the top 5 players. Having held 5th place, the esportsman guaranteed himself a prize of $900,000. At the same time, he took part in the duo mode together with his countryman xOwN. Unfortunately for K1nG, the Alliance with xOwN was not as successful as he would like it to be and the 39th place brought $50,000 for each player. After this, Thiago’s most successful tournament was C2S6: FNCS – Grand Finals: Brazil but he received only $25,000 only for first place. The remarkable thing is that Lapp is still not going to leave the professional scene and keeps playing at the international level. Probably, it is all about his age and the age of 17 is a nice opportunity not just to spend time in Fortnite with pleasure and benefit but to earn as much as possible now. The Argentinian has a contract signed with FaZe Clan and the sum of his earned prize money amounts to $1,037,550 at the moment.

11th place — Davis ‘Ceice’ McClellan

Money earned for his career: $1,130,210

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 40

Davis McClellan is a player of one tournament like almost all esportsmen who have entered the top 10 most successful and richest representatives of the Fortnite scene. He started his career as a professional player under the tag Gankstars in April 2018 and moved to 100 Thieves in February 2019. In July 2019, he successfully participated in the tournament Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 for duos, and his teammate Elevate helped the esportsman to make $900,000 by placing 3rd at the event. In the solo mode, Ceice was not able to achieve the same results and held 60th place earning the minimum prize of $50,000. In September 2019, he held 2nd place at the Fortnite Champion Series tournament, after which his career declined and he was not able to show something decent for the last 2 years. In 2022, he earned only $5,625 and he made $1,130,235 in total by taking part in various events. He earned $950,000 of them at Fortnite World Cup Finals and the rest $80,235 were grabbed at other events. However, the American has not announced his retirement, so we might see him shine bright in the future.

10th place — Rocco ‘Saf’ Morales

Money earned for his career: $1,157,000

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 41

Rocco Morales has demonstrated an interesting path on the professional scene. He started his career in 2018 and placed 1st at Fortnite Summer Skirmish in July where he earned his first $30,000 for a victory. The next triumph was in February 2019. He made another $48,000 in the solo mode in February 2019 and achieved victory at ESL Katowice Duos 3 weeks later and earned $40,000. He received more than $100,000 in prize money at the moment, this result could not be compared to his performance at Fortnite World Cup FInals 2019 Duos. Saf was playing together with Zayt at the championship and placed 4th, due to which both players earned $750,000. After the main tournament in Fortnite history, the American won various tournaments 3 times and lost motivation in 2021, after which he retired. In total, he has managed to earn $1,157,000 in prize money and his career has passed under the colors of Ghost Gaming, TSM, and TrainHard Esport.

9th place — Williams ‘Zayt’ Aubin

Money earned for his career: $1,160,275

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 42

The story of Zayt’s career reminds what we could see in Saf’s case. Besides, Williams Aubin held 4th place at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos together with Saf where he earned $750,000. The other remarkable tournaments, in which Zayt made pretty good prize money, were Fortnite Summer Skirmish: Week 2 – North America, Fortnite Summer Skirmish: Week 3 – North America, and ESL Katowice Royale – International Edition: Duos. The esportsman received prizes of $30,000-$40,000 at each of them, which is pretty good. At the rest of the tournaments, he earned even less and he has not attended a single tournament since March 2021. The esportsman has not announced his retirement, however, the contract with NRG Esports is still active. Considering that the Canadian has not been playing at tournaments for more than a year and a half, it is unlikely that we will see him on the stage again. He has made $1,160,275 in prize money for his career.

8th place — Dave ‘Rojo’ Jong

Money earned for his career: $1,184,403

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 43

The Dutch player Dave Jong is not far from the above-mentioned Zayt and Saf on the list but, unlike them, Dave is truly a player of one tournament. The quintessence of the Dutchman’s career was participation in the Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos. Together with his British teammate, Jong went too far and placed 2nd at the championship, which allowed him to earn $1,125,000 at the tournament. Three other remarkable tournaments in his career include Twitch Rivals: TwitchCon Fortnite Showdown, Fortnite World Cup Online Open: Week 10 – Europe, and FNCS: Season X – Grand Finals: Europe, however, their prizes are miserable compared to the main championship in Fortnite history, to say the least. The player received rewards of $29,333, $10,000, and $6,400, respectively. In March 2021, Dave Jong announced his retirement.

7th place: Nate ‘Kreo’ Kou

Money earned for his career: $1,197,000

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 44

Nate Kou began his career under the tag FrontSide Esports in March 2018 and moved to Armada Esports during his successful participation in Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Solo. Before the start of the main Fortnite tournament, he had placed 3rd at Fortnite Summer Skirmish: Week 4 – North America and 5th at Fortnite Fall Skirmish: Week 3 – North America, for which he earned $45,000 and $10,000, respectively. However, his total earnings of $70,000+ can’t be compared to what he achieved at the Fortnite World Cup. He demonstrated a nice result in the solo mode. Despite failing to make it to the main stage of the duo tournament, he entered the top 5 at Fortnite World Cup Finals Solo and held 4th place. This allowed the esportsman to earn as much as almost all players could not earn, with the exception of the top 11 representatives of the Fortnite scene. Kreo’s earnings were equal to $1,050,000. After this, the main achievement of the native of Hong Kong was 7th place at C2S5: FNCS – Grand Finals: NA East where Kreo received $13,000 as a reward. Besides, he prevailed at three minor tournaments. Nate Kou changed 4 teams after the end of the Fortnite World Cup and decided to retire in 2022. In such a way, Nate had not the most diversified road but it was pretty successful, which allowed him to place 7th on our list. Earning almost $1,200,000 at the age of 22 is a very solid achievement not just in Fortnite but in real life in general. The remarkable thing is that Kreo was accused of cheating and cheating on money at the beginning of 2019. Nate confessed to what he had done and called such an act the biggest mistake of his life. Luminosity Gaming, part of which he was at that moment, terminated his contract, however, this did not stop him from achieving success in the future.

6th place — Jaden ‘Wolfiez’ Ashman

Money earned for his career: $1,352,288

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 45

Wolfiez together with the previously-mentioned Rojo managed to place 2nd at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos and earned $1,125,000 for each player. After this, the esportsman did not drop the esports discipline and continued playing at a high level for a long time. He held 2nd place at a few Fortnite Champion Series tournaments, which allowed him to make $30,000, $35,000, and $95,000. However, he has not seen such success and earnings as he had at Fortnite World Cup and it hurt the player’s motivation to perform on the professional Fortnite scene. This led to the situation that Jaden Ashman earned only $650 in 2022. Jayden has not mentioned his retirement but the failed performances by Wilfiez in the international arena reflect that Ashman might come to such a decision soon and finish competing as one of the most successful Fortnite players in the history of this discipline. He has managed to earn $1,352,288 in his career.

5th place — Emil ‘nyhrox’ Bergquist Pedersen

Money earned for his career: $1,518,509

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 46

The 20-year-old Emil is remembered by Fortnite fans as the champion of the main championship in this discipline, which was hosted among the best duos in the world. In July 2019, he with his Austrian teammate Aqua placed 1st at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos and made $1,500,000. In such a way, Emil can be called a player of one tournament confidently because he has not achieved victory at any tournament, except for the Fortnite World Cup, including the smallest events. However, he has not retired yet but earned only $200 in 2022. The last tournament, in which nyhrox participated, was hosted in June 2022 where he made $200.

4th place — Shane ‘EpikWhale’ Cotton

Money earned for his career: $1,653,608

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 47

Shane Cotton stands out among the rest of the players because his solid achievement at the Fortnite World Cup was just the beginning of his esports career and he continued conquering the scene actively after that. The American performed pretty decently at the solo tournament in July 2019 and placed 3rd at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Solo, due to which he earned $1,200,000. Later, he continued playing and became the champion of seven tournaments, including Gamers8 2022 where he earned $125,000 together with Malibuca. Thus, continuing his persistent pursuit of success, Shane earned another $453,608 in other tournaments and brought the total amount of prize money received to $1,653,608, which put him in 4th place.

3rd place — Harrison ‘Psalm’ Chang

Money earned for his career: $1,852,550

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 48

Harrison Chang had a pretty short but effective career on the professional Fortnite scene. His road started under the tag Counter Logic Gaming in January 2018. The esportsman held 2nd place at Fortnite Fall Skirmish: Week 3 – North America and earned $23,750. It was his best result until the start of the Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Solo. He tried pretty hard there and reached the very end, losing only to Bugha. Having overcome all opponents, he placed 2nd and received $1,800,000 as a reward. Besides this tournament, Chang made only $52,550, which is a pretty small sum in professional Fortnite, especially considering the topic of today’s material. In March 2020, the American player took part in a Fortnite tournament for the last time and placed 12th at FNCS: Chapter 2 Season 2 – Week 1: NA West with toff, having left without a reward. Psalm has retired without winning a single Fortnite tournament, however, he has entered the top three richest players and left his mark on the history of this discipline.

2nd place — David ‘Aqua’ Wang

Money earned for his career: $2,126,265

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 49

The Australian player David Wang began his road to success on the professional Fortnite scene in June 2019. A month later, he lifted the trophy of the Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Duos over his head thanks to his successful collaboration with the Norwegian nyhrox, who took 5th place in our top. It would seem that after such a result, Aqua could lose interest in the game and end his career quickly, as most esports players did. However, this made the Australian player achieve new heights and he continued competing. In September 2019, he achieved two victories at two Fortnite Champion Series tournaments where he earned $32,000 and $160,000, respectively. In May 2022, Aqua once again showed what he was capable of and, together with Veno, won the Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 3 Season 2 – Grand Finals: Europe and earned an additional $150,000. Thus, in addition to receiving $1,500,000 at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019, he was able to earn another $727,315, which is quite commendable. Aqua became the second Fortnite player in the world to break the $2,000,000 mark in prize money, and it looks like the 20-year-old esportsman has no plans to stop there.

1st place — Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf

Money earned for his career: $3,454,850

Top-50 the best Fortnite players in the World. Photo 50

Kyle Giersdorft is the legend and first Fortnite esportsman who beat the $3,000,000 mark in prize money and is extremely close to the $3,500,000 mark, and, undoubtedly, the most successful Fortnite player. At the age of 17, the young man’s hobby changed his life drastically when he prevailed at Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 Solo on July 28, 2019. Having performed decently at the championship, Kyle held 1st place and earned the main prize of $3,000,000 with a lot of people chasing it. Bugha’s performance was not over and the player continued playing on the stage but with smaller success. However, the last year was pretty good for Giersdorf and he made $156,300 in 2022. In total, Kyle has almost reached the $3,500,000 mark in prize money, having stopped at $3,456,500. Bugha is an icon of the Fortnite world and the reason why many people start playing this game dreaming about victory at such a big tournament but no one knows for sure whether Epic Games hosts such an event in the future.
