The map Anubis replaced Dust 2 in the competitive pool a month ago. But the map appeared in the game two years ago but the developers decided to remember about it and return it to CS:GO only last summer.
However, many regular players face problems because they do not know about basic grenade throws. Due to this, they lost rounds and matches, which negatively influences their rank.
In this material, we will talk about smoke throws to enter bombsite B, offer a few possible setups, and tell you about the integration of grenades into the match strategy.
Smoke at the CT spawn exit
It is an extremely important smoke grenade throw if it is considered in combination with other grenades. It allows you to cut off the enemies coming to help at bombsite B from the CT spawn.
Go to Long and stand above the ledge next to the ladder.

Try to stand in the middle of the ledge. However, a minimal deviation is not critical for this grenade throw.

Find the right window between columns, and aim at the center of the second indent on the left. Now, raise the crosshair vertically to the very top as it is displayed in the screenshot below.

As a result, the smoke lands a bit further than the site of the C4 installation and obscures the view of the defensive players who will be running to retake the bombsite.
The smoke at Palace
Another basic smoke is thrown right at the exit from the palace. The defensive sniper frequently hides there and also enemies who will be coming from the middle or the bombsite A.
Go to Long and climb the ruins. Go through the ark here, turn around, and stay right in front of the ledge.

Now, find again the right window between the columns and aim between the two extremely jagged protrusions on the right, as displayed in the screenshot below.

As a result, the smoke lands right at the exit from the palace, obscuring the view of opponents and preventing possible aggression.
The smoke at the connector
This is the next important smoke that allows you to cut off a player who controls water. Usually, the most aggressive player of the enemy team plays there, and who can control a few positions at the same time and look for space.
Go to Long and climb the ruins. Come to the very edge and, turning around, move to the far right indent on the wall. Stay in the middle and turn around.

Look for the left window between the columns and go down below. You will find a small hole in the slabs and aim at it, as displayed in the screenshot below.

The smoke lands right in front of the connector on the side of the bombsite B. In such a way, we obscure the view of the defensive player who could easily meet the outgoing attackers, using the geometry of the map.
Setup №1: These three grenades allow you to occupy the bombsite B quickly, cutting off the opponent from a distance. However, it is worth combining them with flash grenades and a fire grenade that should be thrown behind the column to the one entering the bombsite.

Two players can do this grenade setup: one will throw smoke at the exit from the CT spawn and the second one will close the connector and palace because the grenades are thrown at a close distance. Also, the first one to enter will throw a fire grenade before that one player will throw several flash grenades into the bombsite.
The long-range smoke at Heaven
It is an interesting grenade that can help to make it difficult for the defensive players to retake and also for the attacking side to hold the aggressive positions near the CT spawn.
Move towards Long but turn right towards the bridge. We will see a small collapsed structure.

Jump on it and run into the corner.

Now, find the nearest protruding beam and move the crosshair to the right so that it is between the entire structure and the roof of the building.

The smoke hits the ground and bounces back to heaven, blocking the visibility of opponents who are trying to come and retake. Under this smoke, an attacking side can take close positions, as well as outwit and disorient the opponent.
A wall of close smokes
To enter the bombsite B, we can also throw a wall of close smoke grenades. They can be used together with a smoke grenade at the connector, which will liberate a little part of the bombsite to plant C4.
To throw the left close smoke, go to Long and find a door closed with a grate. Here we are equal on the right trim, pressing close to the door.

Turn around and look for a window between the columns with your crosshair. Now, find a small indent from the top, in the center of which we place the sight as displayed in the screenshot below.

The smoke lands to the left of the monument, closing a few positions at the same time. However, this smoke is not enough to enter the bombsite B.
Also, climb the ruins and stand under the collapsing arch, pressing against the right ledge.

Find the left window between the columns with your crosshair and put it in front of the leftmost jagged indent, as displayed in the screenshot below.

The smoke lands to the right of the monument, obscuring the view of the players who are in cover or right behind the bombsite.
Setup №2: Using these two grenades with the smoke at the connector will allow you to enter the bombsite B quickly and it will also cut off opponents from the nearest positions. Besides, this setup can be used with flash grenades that will slow down the retake of the defensive players.
To do this grenade throw, you will need two players who will throw both grenades simultaneously and create a wall of smoke for the ones to enter the bombsite.
We will talk about the grenade throws to enter bombsite A and hold the middle of the map.
