PUBG Mobile is taking its Esports ecosystem to the next phase. With the PUBG Mobile Esports Roadmap 2023 being announced, James YangDirector of PUBG Mobile Global Esports shared some exciting and amazing news for fans around the world. A lot of changes will be made to the events, which we will throw some light on.

PUBG Mobile will be making a number of updates in the Esports roadmap for 2023

A dedicated amateur eco-system leading to the PMPL Qualifier, the development of the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL), and the addition of more PUBG Mobile Regional Clash (PMRC) competitions are all included in the PUBG Mobile Esports programme for 2023.

The PMPL will receive a number of information from PUBG Mobile, including fascinating updates regarding the game’s expansion in Southeast Asia. PMPL MY/SG/PH will now be known as PMPL Malaysia, and PMPL SEA Wild Card (PH/KH/MM/SG), which will encompass the territories of the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore, is also being introduced by PUBG Mobile.

The PMPL will host the PMPL Qualifier, which will serve as the entry point for amateur and semi-pro teams into the PMPL in 2024. By participating in the PUBG Mobile National Championship, PUBG Mobile Club Open, or third-party competitions, teams can qualify for the PMPL. With a clear road to becoming professional, PUBG Mobile is dedicated to giving semi-pro and amateur teams more possibilities than ever before.

After the success of its debut PUBG Mobile Regional Clash in 2022, more tournaments will be introduced by PUBG Mobile Esports in 2023 in an effort to promote more exciting region vs region rivalry. Outside of the PUBG Mobile Esports’ international competitions, fans may watch their favourite regional teams compete in PUBG Mobile Regional Clash.

PUBG Mobile Esports will also be making two format changes to enhance the player experience

The PUBG Mobile World Invitational in Riyadh in July and the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, which PUBG Mobile Esports is happy to announce will be hosted in Türkiye for the first time starting in November, will both take place in 2023. Fans may also expect to see PUBG Mobile Esports at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, which will be held in Cambodia in May, and the 19th Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou, China beginning in September. Two medal events for PUBG Mobile, including a team event and an individual event, will take place during the SEA Games.

Two further format adjustments for PUBG Mobile Esports will be made in order to improve the player experience. To make games more thrilling and competitive, every event will switch to a 10-point system. For PUBG Mobile Esports, 2022 has been a watershed year with a lot of remarkable accomplishments, including the hosting of 13 PMPLs in 5 regions, 343 pro teams, more than 2000 pro players, and a record-breaking 600,000 teams signing up for the 2022 PUBG Mobile Club Open.
