If you’re an Epic Games Store user looking to try out some of the classic titles of the Battle Royale genre, then you’re in luck as PUBG: Battlegrounds makes its way to the platform.
The title launched on the platform last week, much to the joy of PC players on the Epic Games Store. Prior to its release on Epic Games, the hit Battle Royale was only available on Steam.
From now on, the free-to-play Battle Royale game can be downloaded by Epic Games Store users. Additionally, the game also allows for crossplay with other PC users from the world of Steam.

In a press release dated a couple of days before its launch on Epic Games Store, Krafton said, “From Early Access to becoming free-to-play, PUBG: Battlegrounds has always encouraged all types of players with diverse gaming backgrounds to try their hand at securing the iconic Winner Winner Chicken Dinner across PC and console platforms.”
Furthermore, the developers also confirmed about Steam and Epic Games Store users joining forces for an immaculate PC Battle Royale experience. “Those who play via Epic Games Store will find services identical to what’s found on Steam. Additionally, players from both platforms can play together via crossplay,” said the South Korean gaming giants.
As part of PUBG: Battlegrounds release on Epic Games Store, players can avail the PUBG Founder’s Pack containing several cosmetics from December 6 – January 5.
