Pokemon Fan Recreates Kanto Region's Route 3 With LEGO Bricks

A Pokemon fan shares updates on their Kanto region recreation project using LEGO bricks, this time showing off the area’s Route 3.

The Pokemon fanbase seems to be keen on keeping its soft spot for the 1st generation of Pokemon video games alive and well. Not only does the community keep creating fan art of Gen 1 Pokemon, especially the Kanto region starters, but they seem to also enjoy making content about the iconic areas of the location itself. Continuing their project of recreating the Kanto region out of LEGO bricks, a Pokemon fan gives an update that they have already completed up to Route 3.

Those who have been following the artist on Reddit know that they have already finished Route 1 and Route 2 of their Kanto region LEGO project. Naturally, the next phase of the recreation will be Route 3. Most Pokemon video game players will recall that Route 3 connects Kanto Region’s Pewter City to two different areas, Route 4 and Mt. Moon. Now that the artist has completed Route 3, fans will likely expect them to share updates on their LEGO recreation of Route 4 or Mt. Moon.

In their post dedicated to their Route 3 recreation, Redditor Buscags1 shared several photos of the area from different angles and perspectives. Fans will also likely appreciate that they connected Route 3 to the other areas that they reproduced, starting from Kanto Region’s Pallet Town. Players who are fond of the original Pokemon Red and Blue video games will probably get flashbacks of their first journey through the area, likely reminiscing starting from Pallet Town then going through Route 1 and Viridian City, and onwards.

The artist shared that this is already the 6th part of their LEGO recreation project, and it looks like they have every intention of reproducing the whole Pokemon Kanto region. Comments on the Reddit thread were full of compliments for the artist’s work, with some saying they are very invested in the series. Others asked how Buscags1 plans to create and display the recreation, but the artist shared that this whole project is a digital recreation which will only take up some computer memory and space.

The Pokemon Kanto region is vast and has many iconic locations that Buscags1 is likely looking to include in their LEGO project. With so many in the Pokemon community already invested in what they have created so far, the artist may be inspired to keep working on their digital pieces. Hopefully they will be able to share more updates of their LEGO project in the near future.
