Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is an RPG and in most RPGs, the players would need to be able to level up in order to progress to not just the story but also the competitive ladder aspect of the game. Most of the fun in RPG lies in the grind for materials that would make the player or their team stronger and this includes the grind for leveling up the player. In this article, we will dive into how to effectively level up fast in Mortal Kombat: Onslaught.
How to level up quickly in Mortal Kombat: Onslaught
Leveling up in most games is a grind that is what the players actually play the game for. Grinding for leveling one thing is already tedious but in Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, there are two levels to keep in mind in order to become stronger and progress into the game much deeper.
You cannot go through while only getting to level one or the other. These two are your Player level and the Character levels and how to efficiently grind up both.
Increasing the Player Level
The player level is basically the level at which your account is. The player level of the account will be indicating how much actually the player has progressed in playing the account. Although player level does not necessarily make you stronger it does give rewards for leveling up to certain milestones and having a higher level is a slight indication of how strong a player actually is.
Although not really directly relevant, Player levels give a sense of accomplishment on how much you as a player have done in-game. To grind up player experience points for leveling up, the players will basically need to progress through the game and do the stuff that is usually coinciding with the goal of the actual game.
One of the biggest sources of player experience points that many people seem to not really look at is the campaign of the game. The story mode is an excellent source of not just valuable upgrade materials but also player experience points to boost your level and unlock many milestone rewards.
Increasing the Character Level
Next up would be the Character level, now this is just far more important than the player level if you would want to actually grow stronger in the game. Character levels are one of the most important things that should be ground on in the game as said character levels will directly affect how strong or how weak the player is.
Although there are other variables, in a straight-up mirror fight the one with even one character level higher will undoubtedly win. In order for the player to efficiently farm up character levels, they would need a good supply of character experience currency and Koins. The best supply of such resources is actually really plentiful.
The players would be able to get them on daily quests that give many of said supplies, enough to make your team go through the story mode easily which will in turn get more resources for leveling up. Basically, if you would want to level up your character make sure to at least play the game once per day in order to collect the daily quest that is available.
In conclusion, Character levels should be the ones that players would need to grind on to become stronger and by its byproduct will gain player experience points. Just always keep in mind to never sleep on the rewards that can be obtained by playing in the story mode and not giving your sole attention to the arena mode to just become a competitive player.
