Last month saw multiple notable brands and entities secure deals with esports companies, including McDonald’s, Samsung, the Georgian government’s Department of Economic Development, Amazon Web Services, amongst others.

Prominent Brazilian esports organisations LOUD, paiN Gaming, B4 Esports and Los Grandes announced the creation of their own esports league in the country, named W1N.
Esports Insider spoke with W1N League founders Los Grandes and paiN Gaming, as well as its main sponsor, to gain an insight into this unique venture.
North American esports organisation FaZe Clan has renewed its partnership with McDonald’s USA.
The deal will see both brands launch new initiatives and ‘double down’ on previous campaigns.
The partnership will feature exclusive original content and IP featuring a range of FaZe Clan talent.
North American esports organisation Cloud9 has unveiled a multi-year partnership with crypto casino BC.GAME.
As Cloud9’s official online Casino/Gaming and Sports Betting partner, BC.GAME will receive logo placement on all CS:GO team jerseys and across the organisation’s digital channels.
Educational institution Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies has announced a partnership with esports educational technology company GGTech Entertainment and UK-focused collegiate esports platform NUEL.
The partnership will see NUEL relocate its head office to Confetti’s campus in Nottingham, England, in order to facilitate closer collaboration with the institution on collegiate esports.
Tournament organiser ESL Gaming has extended its partnership with independent non-profit foundation GamingMalta until 2024. As a result, the ESL Pro League will host its Conference Stage and Group Stage in Malta until the end of Season 20.
The agreement is said to focus on growing Malta’s esports ecosystem through the use of local tournaments and conferences. According to a release, this in theory should set up development structures that give aspiring players and teams from Malta more opportunities.
British esports organisation Guild Esports has expanded and renewed its partnership with electronics manufacturer Samsung.
As a result of the expansion, the manufacturer will provide the organisation with its range of QLED TVs for its academy, players and London headquarters.
Esports production company Skillshot Media and Atlanta-based esports organisation Ghost Gaming have announced a partnership with Georgia’s Department of Economic Development and the Georgia Film Academy.
Together with founding partner universities across Georgia, the parties have launched the Georgia Esports League (GEL), an esports initiative that includes curriculum pathways and workforce development.
French esports organisation Team Vitality has announced that GG.BET will become the official international betting partner for its CS:GO team.
According to Team Vitality, the partnership will feature activations and content, and GG.BET’s logo will feature prominently on Team Vitality’s CS:GO jerseys. The partnership is directly focused on Team Vitality’s CS:GO team, and does not include its League of Legends division.
European esports talent agency Prodigy Agency has announced the first official season of The Prodigies, its CS:GO academy programme supported by Razer, CS.MONEY, Refrag.gg and Scope.gg.
Razer has been named the main partner of the project and will provide peripherals for The Prodigies. Meanwhile, other brands will provide skins, analytics and training. Prodigy Agency coaches and staff will also support the players. The selected players will receive wages, advice, access to coaching and training facilities, as well as exposure so that they can find a team after the programme.
Esports Insider (ESI) has announced a partnership with European esports organisation Betclic Apogee.
The partnership will see ESI join forces with the Portugal-based esports organisation — the first esports team with a zero carbon emissions certification — to help develop its first-of-its-kind Carbon Neutral Collective’ initiative. The Collective ties into ESI London, Esports Insider’s industry festival taking place September 5th-7th in London.
IT service management company Amazon Web Services (AWS) has partnered with the Champion of Champions Tour (CCT), a global CS:GO tournament circuit commissioned by esports data platform GRID Esports.
As a result of the deal, AWS became the circuit’s official cloud infrastructure provider from 2022 until 2024. The tournament will use AWS’ data insights to create broadcast improvements, alongside widgets that add additional context to the data.
