Genshin Impact Lotus Locations: Where and how to find them

In Genshin Impact Version 3.0, the Sumeru region was released for players to explore. Along with the new region players also got access to some new characters. And like each region, the characters belonging to a particular region have ascension materials as some regional specialties. Similarly, two types of Lotus are required for character ascension in Genshin Impact. Namely, Nilotpala Lotus and Kalpalata Lotus. Nilotpala Lotus and Kalpalata Lotus are required for the ascension of Tighnari and Dori respectively.

Nilotpala Lotus in Genshin Impact

Nilotpala Lotus is required for the ascension of Tighnari. It is one of the more commonly found regional specialties of Sumeru. So much so, players would require just 2-3 runs to fully gather the lotus for fully ascending Tighnari as in 1 run players can collect 60 Nilotpala Lotus. 

Nilotpala Lotus is found on the surface of water bodies and it is often found in small clusters. Also, obtaining Nilotpala Lotus is quite easy, unlike Kalpalata Lotus. The biggest hotspots to collect Nilotpala are around Sumeru City and the Chinvat Ravine.

Kalpalata Lotus in Genshin Impact

Kalpalata Lotus is the regional commodity required for the ascension of Dori. It is comparatively rarer than other regional commodities of the Sumeru region. To fully ascend Dori, players would have to make several runs to collect the required amount of Kalatpala Lotus.

Kalpalata Lotus is found on the sides of cliffs and mountains. Travelers would have to climb up or down mountains to obtain these lotuses. And climbing up a mountain is quite a tedious task. If travelers are not careful then, they might run out of stamina and fall to death. Sometimes, you can also find Kalpalata Lotus on Stone Statues and large branches.
