Recent Genshin Impact leaks give more information about the Dendro user Baizhu who is expected to arrive in the upcoming version 3.6.
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals more information about one of the upcoming characters, the Dendro user Baizhu. Over the last couple of months, developer HoYoverse has introduced a pattern of adding two new characters with every new update, one five-star, and one four-star unit.
The ongoing Genshin Impact update 3.4 has added two new Dendro characters, Alhaihtam and Yaoyao, both of whom are currently obtainable as part of the ongoing Limited Character Banner which will expire around February 7. The game’s social media accounts have also revealed that two additional characters named Dehya and Mika will arrive in the next update 3.5.
A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more information about the Dendro user Baizhu who has been rumored since his first appearance back in the first Archon Quest chapter. The new leak reveals that Baizhu will apparently be a new Genshin Impact Dendro catalyst user with strong shielding capabilities. The fact that he owns the Bubu Pharmacy led many players to believe Baizhu could be a healer, however, the leak hints that he will not have any healing capabilities. Baizhu always carries his pet snake Changsheng around his neck, and it makes sense that it will be included in some of his combat animations.
Previous Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that his Elemental Skill will have a hold and a tap variation, similar to Zhongli’s Dominus Lapidis which can create one of the strongest shields in the game or spawn a resonating Geo pillar. Just like many other Dendro users, Baizhu’s kit will scale with Elemental Mastery, and he will apparently have the ability to convert ATK into EM.
When it comes to Baizhu’s rarity, he is expected to be a five-star character which means that Genshin Impact update 3.6 could also introduce a four-star unit. Many rumors suggest that this character could be Kaveh, however, a big part of the community hopes that this fan-favorite architect has a higher rarity. At the time of his first appearance, many fans expected Baizhu to be the first Dendro character to join the roster.
Even though the new Dendro element was introduced back in update 3.0, developer HoYoverse probably had to wait for a couple of updates to finish Sumeru’s main story in order to introduce a Dendro user from the Liyue region. There is still no information about Baizhu’s exact release date, but players can expect Genshin Impact version 3.6 to drop around April 20, at least according to the game’s usual update schedule.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
