Is It Possible To Play Genshin Impact For Free?

Genshin Impact is now available on PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices. It’s a free online action role-playing game where you can play with other people and explore a huge open world. When people saw how similar Genshin Impact looked to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, they went crazy.

Our Genshin Impact analysis will show you how the game is more than simply a clone of BotW, even though it is obviously based on BotW and occasionally seems too much like it. Genshin Impact is a game where you don’t need to know much about the story.

Early on, you can decide if you want to play as a man or a woman. The main character, the Traveler, is soon joined by a lot of other people. You will be shown around this world by a fairy named Paimon. You will save the world if you all work together.

How Much Does Genshin Impact’s Free-to-Play Version Cost?

Let’s get this across as quickly as we can. Some people don’t like free-to-play (F2P) games because of their work. This is especially true for games where you draw cards. Don’t get me wrong. There are a lot of poor mechanics in Genshin Impact, but none of them matter.

You don’t have to spend money to finish the game quickly and enjoy the main story. Honestly, the only reason to buy the game is to give the people who made it money. People also think that free-to-play games stink.

There are more free games that aren’t very good that you can play. I’ve played a few of them more than once. Genshin Impact is a good free-to-play game, one of its best features. The fact that it doesn’t hide its good content behind paywalls makes this even clearer.

You might be surprised to learn that Genshin Impact is great and free. How? I understand. That’s a pretty radical idea these days when even AAA games are all about making as much money from us as possible.

Large games hide content behind microtransactions or a lot of paid DLC (like Final Fantasy XV). So it seems CRAZY that a match like Genshin Impact could come along and be GOOD and FREE at first.

Want to blow some cash?

If you want to, you can spend money on the game. This is helped by some of the ways poor games work. You can get better weapons and characters through a system called “Wishes.” It depends on luck, so you could get a great 5-star character or a 1-star weapon to wipe your butt with. You will have to pay game money to try again.

You can get some of that money by going on quests and exploring. You also get great rewards if you play the game every day. But if you want to, you can spend real money to buy in-game currency and use it to buy things like rerolls and more poor pulls.

I’ve played this game for a long time but never felt compelled to pay real money. Many good weapons can be found in chests, and it’s easy to make them better by gathering materials. Also, you can level up your characters like you can level up your weapons, so there’s never a reason to pay real money.

Genshin Impact includes combat, culinary, and cross-play elements.

The world of Genshin Impact is great, but I keep going back because it’s so much fun. After all, you can only get so far with bright colours and cel-shaded graphics. But the game does a great job of making it interesting to look at. It would help if you raised your Adventurer Ranks by opening chests, exploring dungeons, and completing quests.

Combat in the game is a mix of action RPG-style button mashing like in Kingdom Hearts, and character-specific moves and team builds like in Dark Cloud. In other words, each character has its weapons and elements.

So, while the Traveler uses a sword and has the Ameno (wind) element, other characters like Amber use bows and have the Pyro (fire) element. As a result, mixing and matching your party depending on the characters’ elemental strengths and weaknesses is always a smart idea.

The cooking minigame is a signed version of the cooking system in Breath of the Wild. Players can find vegetables and other food items in the open world and dungeons, which they can combine and cook over campfires. It’s still good, and the cooking is a bit simpler than in Breath of the Wild, but it’s obvious that it’s a knockoff.

You can also play with your friends, which is a big plus. Breath of the Wild could sometimes feel a little lonely, but Genshin Impact fixes that by letting you play with other people. The game’s creator, miHoYo, says that Genshin Impact is not an MMORPG, mostly because there are no other players in the overworld. Genshin Impact, on the other hand, lets you run dungeons with up to three friends.

Cross-play is also possible, which means you can play the game on PS4 with friends who are playing it on mobile or PC. Even better, the game can be saved on your phone and your computer. But you can play Genshin Impact by yourself or with friends, just like Dragon Quest X. It depends on you.

Final Thoughts on the Impact of Genshin

Not much more can be said about this. Genshin Impact is a great role-playing game that doesn’t deserve the bad rep many free-to-play games get. It’s also a great way to show that it’s not just a copy of Breath of the Wild. People like RPGs with cel-shaded graphics like Ni No Kuni and Tales of Vesperia should enjoy Genshin Impact.

There should be more free-to-play games like Genshin Impact. You know, games that don’t just give players a taste and then make them pay for more. Games where you don’t have to pay to win or make small purchases to keep playing. There are ways to spend real money in Genshin Impact, but you don’t have to. All you need to have fun is an open mind.
