Square Enix has recently uploaded a new trailer for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, highlighting the variety of changes that are coming to the remaster. For players who are just getting to know the game, the new trailer provides a great way to see the differences between the original Crisis Core video game versus the upcoming remastered version.
There is only a month or so until the official release date of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, and the development team seems to be publishing as much information as they can share to the public. Likely a bid to increase player interest and hype, the most recent update includes the game’s performance breakdown depending on the player’s chosen console or gaming platform. Now, the devs seem keen to push the community excitement even more, especially since the new trailer actually showcases the remaster’s updates in action.
On YouTube, Square Enix uploaded the new Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion trailer for the fanbase to enjoy. The new video is about one minute long but provides fans a snappy way to view the upcoming changes to the remaster. The development team cleverly shared footage from the original Crisis Core video game alongside the remaster’s updates, showing off what players can expect from the new title. What’s more, Square Enix provided more detail into these updated features with a special blog post on their official website.
Other Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion features highlighted in the trailer include snippets of the newly arranged soundtrack, HD graphics, and updated combat system. Fans will also probably enjoy the footage of the game’s new summoning cinematics. In the blog post, the team also detailed the reworking of the “Digital Mind Wave” or “DMW” system by making it flow faster and more fluidly. According to the team, a new Ability Gauge has also been added into the system, allowing players to prepare for powerful enemy attacks that used to come without warning in the original video game.
It seems the development team has really put in a lot of work to update Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion in order to suit the taste of the current gaming generation. With all of these changes, the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 spin-off seems to really be turning out as more than just a remaster of the original. Hopefully the player base will think so too, and that the title’s launch will be successful.
