Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 has arrived alongside the free to play, battle royale title, Warzone 2.0. Apart from all the new content, there have been some improvements to MW2 along with some critical intel for Warzone 2.0, so let’s get into it. Players can check out the full changelog here.

First and foremost, the developers have made some UI changes to the game, and these improvements have been made to help better navigate Camos. The first change is the addition of controller bumper navigation to jump between categories. From now, players can use L1 and R1 or LB and RB for that.

The second change is the addition of a toggle option to show or hide locked Camos. The third and final change is not for the UI, but for gameplay. Players will now have an increased audio notification for when The Jailer enters the Gulag.

Additionally, the developers have made changes to weapon attachments too, specifically the Armour Piercing Ammunition. For this attachment, the damage multiplier against armoured opponents has been removed. Apart from these additions, there are also a plethora of bug fixes that resolve most of the issues that have been plaguing the title.

Moreover, Call of Duty has also announced its FIFA World Cup 2022 collaboration. Players will now be able to reinforce their roster with the likes of some of the most popular names in the world of football. Brazilian Skiller Neymar Jr., French Midfielder Paul Pogba and Argentinian Maestro Lionel Messi have their own Operator Bundles in MW2 as well as Warzone 2.0.
