Bayes Esports launches new integrity-focused partnership programme

Esports data company Bayes Esports has announced the launch of a new partnership programme to bolster its current, and future, partners.

The Bayes Esports Partnership Program will look to further establish partners within the platform’s portfolio by making them more visible. Bayes will also look to develop new platforms that take into account esports integrity and esports betting. 

Bayes Esports’ partnership portfolio features a variety of game developers, tournament organisers and esports betting entities, ranging from Riot Games to Pinnacle. Other notable partners include ESL Gaming, Abios, BETER and Sportsflare.

In the announcement, Bayes highlighted that partnerships built around official live data have been a major contributor to the development of esports, whether that has been to create betting solutions or to bolster the scene’s integrity. According to the release, the announcement sees Bayes and its partners emphasise integrity and go against ‘unofficial data offerings’. 

Bayes’ partnership programme is the latest step the company has taken to bolster data opportunities within esports. In 2019, the company launched BEDEX, its own independent esports data marketplace.

Regarding the new programme, Martin Dachselt, CEO and Managing Director of Bayes Esports, commented: “BEDEX was a breakthrough in the esports data market, allowing data providers and data consumers to both profit from official live match data. 

“However, we do also recognize that our work is far from done. There are still so many players within the industry that are unaware of the danger and disadvantages that unofficial data offerings entail.”

The past 12 months have been a busy period of growth for the esports data company. Most notably the company secured a €6m (~£5.1m) investment that will be used to scale the company and expand to new markets. The company also recently renewed its partnerships with Riot Games and ESL Gaming
